A targeted approach to unlock the potential of immunotherapy
Immunotherapy has revolutionised the treatment of many cancer types, but prostate cancer has been left behind.
Supported by a Prostate Cancer UK Research Innovation Award, a team led by Professor Claire Lewis from the University of Sheffield investigated if targeting immunotherapy to tumour immune cells could unlock the potential of these treatments.
Find out more about their hugely exciting new publication, which outlines how immunotherapy could help men benefit from hormone therapy for longer.
National Prostate Cancer Research Group
We've partnered with colleagues at Prostate Cancer Research to develop a proposal for a new National Prostate Cancer Research Group since the wind-down of NCRI in 2023.
Its really important this new group helps support the prostate cancer research community, to help make sure we achieve this we ask you to complete a short survey on our proposal. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
