Supporter story - William Hare Ltd
After multiple colleagues at their Bury facility were diagnosed with prostate cancer, employees at William Hare Ltd decided to nominate Prostate Cancer UK as their charity of the year.
Employees have taken part in a range of fundraising challenges, from football tournaments, to tough mudders, funding lifesaving prostate cancer research into better tests and treatments to diagnose men sooner a reality.
“Every volunteer [for the events] has given 100%, and staff have donated week in, week out, allowing us to reach our current total” – Ann, Facility Supervisor.
So far, William Hare Ltd have raised over £2,200, with plans for even more amazing events in the future.
