Our next webinar
Sexual side effects and your wellbeing after prostate cancer
Date: Monday 3 March
Time: 6pm-7:30pm
Sex is an important part of life for many of us. And lots of men who have prostate cancer say changes to their sex life and relationships are some of the biggest issues they have to deal with after treatment.
You’ll learn about what psychosexual therapy is and how it can help you maintain a healthy sexual relationship. You’ll also hear about other forms of support and get some top tips you can try for yourself at home. Our speakers will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
Our guest speaker will be:
Dr Isabel White: Senior Accredited Psychosexual Therapist
Isabel is a cancer nurse and COSRT (College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists) senior accredited psychosexual therapist. In 2010 she set up the first psychosexual therapy service at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, for people whose sexual lives and intimate relationships had been adversely affected by cancer and its treatment.
Isabel also works regularly with cancer charities on patient-centered events that focus on improving knowledge, boosting confidence, and breaking down barriers so more people will feel able to talk about the challenges of sex after cancer.
