Enlarged prostate: Coping with symptoms and treatment options webinar
Date: Thursday 18 September
Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
Prostate cancer isn’t the only condition that can affect the prostate. An enlarged prostate, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is a non-cancerous condition that is common in men over 50. An enlarged prostate is an increase in the size of the prostate and possible symptoms include urinary problems such as a weak flow, urge to pass urine and needing to urinate more often.
If you’ve been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate, you may have questions. What symptoms should you look out for? What lifestyle changes might help? What treatment options are available?
That’s why we’re running a free online webinar, led by our Specialist Nurses who will be joined by a urology consultant and a man with personal experience of the condition, about enlarged prostates and we’d love for you to join us.
Our speakers will include:
-
Lisa Hilder, Specialist Nurse, Prostate Cancer UK
-
Wissam Abou Chedid, Consultant Urological Surgeon, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust
