Inaugural Alumni Event 2024
Last year’s event was a huge success, bringing together diverse professionals to share and reflect on their leadership journeys. The day kicked off with insightful discussions about the broader impact of Prostate Cancer UK’s strategy at a system level. We then dived into the improvement project journeys, exploring how our alumni’s collective efforts have led to positive outcomes in care for men.
The event wrapped up with an inspiring session on sustaining change within the system. Our fantastic speakers, Laura Kerby (Prostate Cancer CEO), Doris Olulode (Chair of the Board of Trustees), and Paul Perkins (Sue Ryder Chief Medical Director), shared practical insights and motivation for keeping the momentum going.
It was a day filled with connection, reflection, and empowerment, setting the stage for continued collaboration and impact.

It was great to regroup with my fellow clinical champions and hear about ongoing improvement projects. The alumni event provided a platform to reflect on my leadership journey and share ideas with Prostate Cancer UK and peers to further improve patient care and outcomes
