The Man of Men will return to The Belfry as Danny Willett continues his support in 2022.

Join Danny and the biggest team in golf.

Danny Willett  has been our golfing ambassador for two years, and recently helped raise £32,000 in May by sinking 19 birdies at the BetFred British Masters . He’s conquered Augusta, Wentworth and St Andrews, now the  golfing star Danny is ready to put the squeeze on the most common cancer in men in 2022.

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men. Sadly this means prostate cancer exists in every golf club in the UK. That’s why we’re so proud professional golfer and Yorkshire man, Danny Willett has again picked Prostate Cancer UK as his charity of choice for the 2022 Betfred British Masters. We’re also hugely grateful to the European Tour for allowing Danny to host the event for an unprecedented second time, with fans returning to the iconic Belfry course in 2022.

Despite COVID denying supporters the opportunity to watch the top talent on the European Tour (now known as the DP World Tour last year, players, sponsors and broadcasters all stood alongside us and backed us brilliantly. And eagle-eyed fans would have seen our giant Man of Men out on the course. Expect more of the same in May.

The former Masters champion also recently won the prestigious Dunhill Links title at the home of golf – his successful form in the event’s pro-am netted Prostate Cancer UK a cool £6,700, with his second-place finish alongside Jimmy Dunne taking his fundraising total to more than £32,000.

Willett was inspired to support the work of Prostate Cancer UK after his manager had attended a golf day run by prolific fundraiser and fellow Yorkshireman John Brownless back in 2019. Brownless has raised more than £85,000 for the charity having himself been diagnosed with a disease that affects one in eight men. His speech at the end of the day proved the trigger for Danny's support.

Me and my team can’t wait to continue our support in 2022 – and you can join me on the best team in golf too.

Here’s Danny on what inspired him to help us beat prostate cancer and how golf fans can get involved.

“Last year was a big success, but I’m convinced that next year will be better than ever. I can’t wait to have the chance to play in front of fans again on home soil.

I’m proud to have the iconic ‘Man of Men’ logo stitched on my bag, and it’s amazing how many people ask me about it. It’s a great conversation starter and I always think of my mate and fellow Yorkshireman John Brownless, who continues to work tirelessly to raise funds and awareness.

Meeting John at the BetFred British Masters was a proud moment for me. It allowed me to thank him personally for all the work he’s done to support men like him and showcase the dangers of this disease to the wider golfing community. He’s an inspirational guy, and long may his support continue.

Me and my team can’t wait to continue our support in 2022 – and you can join me on the best team in golf too. There are so many opportunities to support this great charity from tee to green to help beat prostate cancer.”
