‘Spotlight on...’ is our series of research webinars designed to offer you bitesize opportunities to expand your knowledge on specific areas of prostate cancer research.
In each 60-minute session you’ll hear from experts in the field and have the chance to ask questions, share ideas and network. We’ll run a series of weekly seminars focussed on a specific theme.

Spotlight on...cell death
To kick off the first webinar of the new series, we are joined by cell death experts, Professor Pascal Meier from The Institute of Cancer Research and Professor Stephen Tait.from the Beatson Institute. They will both present an introduction into cell death and cancer.

Spotlight on…DNA sensing
In this webinar we will be joined by, Dr Christine Galustian from Kings College London and Dr Eileen Parkes from Oxford University to discuss modifying anti-cancer proteins to eliminate prostate cancer cells and the role of cGAS/STING.

Spotlight on…immunotherapy
This week we’ll shine the Spotlight on…immunotherapy. We will be joined by Professor Hardev Pandha, University of Surrey and Dr Ravi Madan, from National Cancer Institute to discuss the use of t-cells to eradicate prostate cancer cells.

This week we’ll be joined by Dr Gunnel Halldén from Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London and Professor Helen McCarthy from Queen’s University Belfast as we shine the Spotlight on the exciting prospect of developing prostate cancer vaccines.
