Kickstart your festive season at Carols by Candlelight, Prostate Cancer UK’s unique take on a traditional Christmas carol concert.
What to expect
Be part of a magical evening of festive spirit as we look back on and celebrate the progress your support has made possible for men this year.
On this not-so silent night, sing along and experience the joy of uplifting carols from both gospel and traditional choirs. We’ll be captivated by readings from our wonderful celebrity guests, Baroness Floella Benjamin and Charles Dance. Laura Kerby, CEO of Prostate Cancer UK, will also reflect on the incredible strides and huge impact we’ve made together in 2025 for those living with prostate cancer.
And if you would like to, our special tribute tree will be lit to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. You’re welcome to hang your tribute bauble, which you’ll receive with your printed tickets. So bring your family and friends. Grab some mulled wine, a mince pie, and roast chestnuts as you take your seat. And get ready to make some new memories together.
You won’t want to miss this night of celebration and holiday cheer!
Meet the performers…
Baroness Floella Benjamin OM DBE DL

Floella is a Trinidad-born British actress, presenter, author, and politician celebrated for her groundbreaking contributions to children’s television and public life. Floella rose to fame as a beloved presenter of Play School and later became a tireless advocate for diversity, education, and children’s welfare. Appointed a life peer in 2010, she sits in the House of Lords as a Liberal Democrat, where she champions causes close to her heart, including social mobility and cultural representation. Warm, vibrant, and deeply committed to service, Baroness Benjamin is both a cherished cultural icon and an influential public figure.
In January 2025, Floella shared a video on X for Prostate Cancer UK, raising awareness that one in four Black men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. She encouraged people to use the charity’s risk checker to understand their chances and take action early. Her support is deeply personal, shaped by her own family’s experience with the disease, making her advocacy especially powerful.
