We work closely with local, regional, and national leaders across England to support men and their loved ones. We regularly meets with regional cancer alliances, local councils, and national elected officials to collaborate and improve the lives of men in England.

Current campaigns in England
In England, we're continually engaging with government on key policy issues. With the UK Government's focus on the three major shifts in healthcare, we're working to position prostate cancer within that agenda and help ensure the NHS is fit for the future. This is particularly important given that prostate cancer is now the leading cancer in the UK.
We're also closely monitoring what the future NHS landscape will look like under the new Government and how these changes could affect people with prostate cancer and also Healthcare Professionals.
We have written to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care highlighting the need for better coordination between health services, and identifying how vulnerable people are identified and supported across the system.
England's first-ever Men's Health Strategy was published on International Men's Day, featuring a focus on prostate cancer. It marks a significant step forward in addressing men's health inequalities.
The government has planned to address some of the challenges facing the NHS. We felt it was important to make the case for men with prostate cancer, so we fed into that plan.

Coalitions and Partnerships
We work collaborativeky with partners and policymakers to influence change and improve outcomes for men affected by prostate cancer.
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Prostate Cancer brings together cross-party members of the House of Commons and House of Lords and key partners to tackle the urgent challenges faced by men with prostate cancer. We provide the co-secretariat for the APPG alongside Prostate Cancer Research.
Prostate Cancer UK is part of One Cancer Voice - a coalition of more than 60 charities who partner to campaign on issues affecting cancer care, strategic delivery, and research.
