phs Group logo

phs Group

We’ve joined forces with the UK’s largest hygiene services provider, phs Group, to create the 'Dispose with Dignity' campaign. This campaign is tackling the taboo around male incontinence and pushing the government to legislate for the provision of incontinence bins in male toilets. This will allow men to dispose of their pads and any associated products safely, hygienically and with dignity.  As part of the campaign, we worked with phs Group to create a new male incontinence bin, which businesses across the country will be stocking, to create a better world for men dealing with incontinence.

In August 2024, we launched BOG STANDARD, a set of guidelines designed to ensure businesses and the public sector are providing men with the facilities they need to dispose of incontinence waste with dignity. The campaign highlights the number of missed moments men face as a result of their incontinence and what businesses can do to offer better provision. The Campaign Toolkit, includes a range of resources to help businesses support men living with incontinence.

Tena Men

TENA Men

Since 2019, we’ve proudly partnered with TENA Men to support men living with the side effects of prostate cancer treatment. Together, we’re breaking down taboos, raising awareness, and making sure men feel supported every step of the way.

Incontinence is a common and often under-discussed side effect of prostate cancer surgery. As part of our partnership, TENA Men donates over 15,000 packs of their Level 2 & 3 pads each year, which are included in our Surgery Support Packs -helping thousands of men feel more prepared for their recovery.

You may have seen our health messaging on TENA Men packs in major UK retailers and pharmacies, one of the ways we’ve reached men at scale with vital information. We’ve also worked closely to challenge the stigma around male incontinence, co-creating a powerful film series featuring health professionals and real-life stories, delivered with an upfront approach to spark honest, meaningful conversations.

Iceland Foods

Iceland

In 2022, Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation generously pledged £500,000 to tackle health inequalities associated with prostate cancer. The pledge came on top of more than £1 million donated since 2008 to save and improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. The money pledged by Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation will support our research and campaigning to ensure that men are able to get a prompt diagnosis, no matter where they live in the UK.

Paddy Power

Paddy Power and the Professional Darts Corporation

We teamed up with Paddy Power and the Professional Darts Corporation as the official charity partner of the World Darts Championship. And it turned out to be one of our biggest ever partnerships.

As part of The BIG 180 campaign, Paddy Power pledged £1,000 for every maximum thrown at the tournament from December 2023 to January 2024, donating a grand total of £1 million towards our work. When the campaign returned as The BIGGER 180 one year later, we hit even higher numbers - with £1,027,000 pledged after Paddy Power awarded a massive bonus donation for every nine-dart finish at the tournament.

The partnership has also raised huge awareness of prostate cancer among darts fans, with more than 325,000 men visiting our website to complete our online risk checker during the two campaigns.

The LMA

We’ve been a proud partner of the League Managers Association (LMA) for more than a decade now. Football managers and their coaching teams have proudly worn our 'Man of Men' badge on the touchlines of the biggest stadiums in the UK as well as supporting us with media appearances and promotional content to make a huge difference to football fans' awareness of prostate cancer.

ICAP

We've been selected as ICAP’s charity partner several times in recent years, most recently in 2022. In 2023 we were one of 15 charities who took part in the annual charity event that brings together staff, clients and celebrities in one of the biggest fundraising days in the calendar. ICAP's generous funding has allowed us to diversify, improve and upgrade our one-to-one peer support service.

EDF aimed to engage their largely male workforce in vital prostate cancer awareness messaging. We hosted educational talks in every EDF site across the country over the course of our four-year partnership. And in the process, over £800,000 was raised - led by astonishing staff fundraising efforts and an employee fundraising match scheme.

DP World Tour (Betfred British Masters)

We were proud to be selected as the charity partner of the Betfred British Masters in 2021, 2022 and 2023 at The Belfry. Not only has the fundraising been a huge success, we've also had the backing of several elite golfers - promoting the importance of prostate cancer awareness across the golfing world.
