TENA Men
Together with TENA Men, we’re taking action to tackle the taboo around incontinence - a common side effect experienced by men after prostate cancer surgery.
We’ve been working in partnership with TENA Men, the number one incontinence brand globally, since 2019. They manufacture pads and pants specifically designed for men who experience urine leakage – a common side effect experienced by 60% of men after prostate cancer surgery. Our customer-facing brand partnership aims to start this crucial conversation on a national level.
Smashing the stigma around male incontinence
- We’ve been working with TENA Men to tackle the taboo associated with incontinence through a collaborative film series, featuring Casey, Samuel and Michael. These three remarkable men - who have all been through prostate cancer surgery - opened up about the challenges of living with male incontinence.
- Our brand and messaging also features on a promotional campaign, with TENA Men donating 10p from every pack sold. The promotional packs will be available in most major retailers and pharmacies, including Tesco, ASDA and Boots.
- TENA Men have helped spread the word, featuring our work in their TV adverts, during Six Nations rugby matches and other major sporting moments on Sky Sports, TNT and Prime Video.
- Ambassadors and rugby pundits Lewis Moody and Stuart Hogg supported our campaign by speaking about men's health on TalkSport radio, shining a light on male urinary incontinence and the stigma attached to it.
- TENA Men are also donating 10,000 products that we're including in our surgery support packs, which help men prepare for surgery and manage any problems with incontinence after their catheter is removed.
- We've also co-hosted webinars with TENA Men’s clinical education team, helping to educate pharmacists about supporting men who are living with incontinence.
