We are proud to offer a range of bursaries to support professionals undertaking prostate disease focused education, as well as funding for organisations providing these training opportunities.

Bursaries are available for professional development activities that have a clear focus on prostate cancer or benign prostate disease. Please see below for a list of the funding opportunities currently available.

Current bursary schemes - Individuals

Education bursaries: up to £1500

We have two levels of funding available; bursaries up to £499 or between £500 and £1500. You can apply for a bursary to cover course fees for study days, short courses or educational conferences. We are unable to cover additional expenses such as travel costs at this time.

Masters degree in Prostate Cancer Care

If you’re working towards a specialist or advanced practice role in prostate cancer, we can support you with a bursary to undertake the Masters degree in Prostate Cancer Care (distance learning) with Sheffield Hallam University.

Current bursary schemes - Organisations

Education bursaries of up to £5000 per activity are available to organisations wishing to provide UK based educational activity, such as training events, study days, conferences, clinical updates or similar.

Deadline: Bursary applications are reviewed on an individual basis, please contact us in the first instance to discuss your application. You can contact us online or phone 0203 310 7000. 

Please note, we recommend that you apply for a bursary at least three months before your planned activity is due to commence.

Application deadlines

Bursary applications are reviewed on a bi-monthly basis by an internal assessment panel. The table below lists the bursary submission deadlines, along with the date the assessment panel will meet to review the applications.

  • All applications received on or before the submission deadline will be assessed at the first upcoming assessment panel.
  • Applications received after each monthly deadline will be reviewed at the following assessment panel..
  • Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application within 10 days of the assessment panel review date.
