Sharon Pavitt – Director of People and Culture

Sharon is our Director of People and Culture, and she joined Prostate Cancer UK in October 2022.

She leads the teams that deliver our people strategy and programmes, looking after our colleagues, volunteers and trustees and keeping them connected and at the heart of everything we do. 

Sharon brings a breadth of experience across HR, leadership and talent development, engagement and communications, wellbeing, organisation development and diversity and inclusion.

Sharon joins us from her most recent position as Head of Culture and Engagement at Openreach. She has a strong background in the health sector, having previously worked for Nuffield Health as Director of Leadership, Engagement, Talent and Learning and as HR Director.

Sharon is passionate about helping us create an organisation where people can thrive and be at their best to save and improve the lives of men impacted by prostate cancer.

Sharon is a qualified Coach and Insights Discovery Practitioner. She lives in London with her husband and has two nearly grown-up children and a dog. She’s a keen cyclist, festival goer and has just taken up tap dancing.
