Office volunteers
Office volunteers play an important role in helping us ensure that no man dies of prostate cancer. By supporting teams across the charity, they help keep our day-to-day work moving forward so together we can deliver the greatest possible impact for men.
From Fundraising to IT, our office volunteers bring their own backgrounds and perspectives to strengthen how we work.
This is a flexible role, with volunteers able to give as much or as little time as they can. No specific skills or experience are required – just a willingness to help. Volunteers are fully supported, with training provided so they feel confident, valued and able to make a meaningful contribution.
With eight office volunteers currently giving their time on a regular basis, their behind-the-scenes support enables us to reach more men while gaining insight into how a national charity works. With that comes the chance to build new skills, gain hands-on experience and contribute first-hand to life-changing work.
Volunteer spotlight
Robin volunteers with our Legacy and In-Memory team, where he helps support incredible supporters. After losing his partner to prostate cancer, he began volunteering with us to use his skills in a meaningful way. Since then, he has become a valued member of the team, contributing regularly and reliably behind the scenes.
Over the last eight years, Robin has supported us in so many ways including thanking supporters, reviewing marketing materials and some data work. We really would be lost without him! He has been such a valuable member of the team, it’s a privilege to work with him.
