Black men are more likely to get prostate cancer than other men in the UK, who have a 1 in 8 chance of getting prostate cancer.
If you’re black, you may also be more likely to get prostate cancer if you’re aged 45 or over – and your risk increases as you get older.
If you’re a black man over 45, read our health information and speak to your GP about your risk of prostate cancer.
Most black men aren't aware that they have an increased risk of prostate cancer. That’s why we want to make sure all black men know their risk and what to do about it.
With your help, we can raise awareness and make sure that more black men know their risk. You can help us get the message out by ordering our supporter pack and sharing what's inside.
We've called on the support of celebrities like Linford Christie and Benjamin Zephaniah, men who have personally been affected by prostate cancer, and other people from black communities to help us. Read their stories.
