Working Together: To Tackle Cancer showcases advances in treatment, and highlights how early diagnosis and a collaborative approach saves lives.
New data shows that the further North you go in the UK, the more likely you are to be diagnosed when it’s too late for a cure. And Black men are twice as likely to be diagnosed, and more likely to die of prostate cancer.
We need to do something to help tackle these inequalities, now. We want a world where ethnicity, location or income don’t dictate your chances of survival or quality of life. That’s why we’re proud to partner with ITN to share a powerful film this World Cancer Day.
Anchored by television presenter Simon Thomas from the ITN London studio, the Working Together: To Tackle Prostate Cancer programme was made in collaboration with several cancer charities to showcase advances in treatment, and highlights how early diagnosis and a collaborative approach saves lives.
Check your risk and share the risk-checker with the men in your lives.
