With the choice of a marathon, a half marathon or a 10K, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival is perfect for both first-timers and those chasing a personal best.
1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. If you're over 50, if you're Black, or if your dad or brother had it, you're at even higher risk. By running for us, you're not just challenging yourself - you're helping raise vital funds and awareness of the most common cancer in men.
We have charity places available in:
- EMF 10K 23 May 2026: Run in the stunning surroundings of Holyrood Park with striking panoramic views of the city and Edinburgh Castle. To take part, there's a £15 registration fee and a minimum sponsorship pledge of £150.
Registrations for the 2026 Edinburgh Marathon and Half Marathon have now officially closed.
If you've already got a place, we’d love to welcome you to the team. There’s no minimum fundraising target if you have your own place.

If you're using a wheelchair or handbike, we'd love to have you join the fun. No need to worry about separate races – you'll be part of the main race alongside everyone else. Just a heads up, if you're in a wheelchair or on a handbike, make sure you're the one doing the pushing – no electric wheelchairs or getting a helping hand from a friend on the course.
