Our Equality in Prostate Cancer Programme ran from September 2025 to January 2026.

Our upcoming 2026 and 2027 short programmes will be announced later in the year.

Your project:

Improving equality in prostate cancer care can significantly improve the outcomes and experiences for men impacted by prostate cancer, ensuring:

  • all men, regardless of their background, have access to timely detection and diagnosis
  • personalised treatment plans are created to address the diverse needs of men
  • culturally relevant information is provided to empower men with knowledge about their risk and symptoms
  • men have greater awareness and understanding of the disease
  • men have better access to mental health resources, peer support groups and community networks
  • health, socio-economic and geographic disparities are reduced, so all men have access to high-quality care
  • healthcare professionals receive comprehensive training to help them engage proactively with men from hard-to-reach communities and provide culturally sensitive, inclusive care.
