Urology Clinical Leads Programme

What is the Urology Clinical Leads Programme?

Our 20-week programme will help Urology Clinical Leads strengthen their professional skills through a package of education, coaching and peer-based mentoring, while supporting you to deliver a project to improve services within the prostate cancer pathway. This programme encourages clinicians to become transformational leaders, drive improvement and change and helping men to access high quality treatment.

This programme is fabulous. I learnt loads and would unreservedly recommend it, particularly to young clinical leads.

What does the programme involve?

We’ve developed a flexible, hybrid programme model that blends both virtual and in person delivery, while still fostering a collaborative and positive learning environment. We’ll support you from the initial planning stages of your project, right through to implementation and review. Our expert programme managers have extensive experience in supporting clinicians working in our complex and fragmented health service, and we know how vital you are to driving improvement.

As part of the programme, you’ll develop and enhance your skills and knowledge in strategic thinking influencing and managing complex relationships with stakeholders, critical thinking, problem solving, articulating your vision for change and above all, effective leadership for embedding change.
