Reporting your Awareness Activities
Prostate Cancer UK volunteers help reach more men at risk through raising awareness in our communities.
Telling us where you have been and who you have been speaking to helps us support you and shout about the amazing impact you have.
Have you done a talk? Held an awareness stand? Organised an awareness activity?
Volunteering Safely
We are committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our volunteers and wider community.
Safeguarding vulnerable adults and children is a key priority for Prostate Cancer UK. We believe safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
If you have concerns for the wellbeing or safety of anyone you meet while volunteering please report it to us straight away.
Contact our volunteer experience team for a link to our safeguarding e-learning training to keep up-to-date.
Unfortunately, accidents can happen at anytime - if there is an injury, incident or near miss while you are volunteering please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us make volunteering safer for everyone.
Expenses to claim?
Volunteering should be accessible to everyone, and no one should be out of pocket for volunteering with us.
Our expenses handbook sets out what expenses you can claim.
1. Make sure you have told us about the volunteering activity you want to claim for.
2. Complete our short expenses claim form and upload your receipts to make your claim!
Claims will be processed and paid by BACS within 2 weeks.
