The BIGGER 180
As the official charity partner of the World Darts Championship, we're teaming up with Paddy Power once again to save men’s lives.
It's The BIGGER 180. And this year we're hitting the big numbers
As the charity partner of the World Darts Championship, we’re working together with Paddy Power to save men's lives – right here, right now.
Because until we have a screening programme, the biggest lifesaver is making sure every man knows his risk of prostate cancer.
That’s why we’re getting our message out to men right across the country. And urging darts fans in all corners of the UK to take our 30-second online risk checker.
We're on target to save thousands of men's lives
The biggest stars in darts are aiming to hit as many 180s as possible – with the Ballon d’Art trophy up for grabs for the player with the most maximums. And for each 180 scored at this year’s championship, Paddy Power have pledged to donate £1,000, plus a massive £180,000 bonus for every nine-darter. That’s £60,000 to the player who lands the perfect checkout, £60,000 to one lucky darts fan in the Ally Pally crowd and a further £60,000 to support our groundbreaking TRANSFORM trial.
We’re hitting the big numbers, so we can find the best way to diagnose prostate cancer and save thousands of men’s lives every year.

Sir Chris Hoy gets on board for The BIGGER 180
As the biggest names in darts take to the oche at Alexandra Palace, Olympic legend Sir Chris Hoy is throwing his support behind The BIGGER 180 at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
One of Britain’s most iconic sportsmen, Sir Chris is urging men to “get on the front foot” by checking their risk. And he’s also starting a big conversation about prostate cancer, so that more men find it early enough for a cure.
“This campaign is about saving lives,” said Sir Chris. “It’s about getting more men checked earlier and catching the disease before it becomes serious. That’s how we make a real difference."
Every maximum fires us closer to a screening programme
Right now, there’s no national screening programme inviting men for regular, accurate prostate cancer tests. And as a result, too many men are being diagnosed too late – when it's harder to treat. This has to change.
And that’s where TRANSFORM comes in. TRANSFORM is the most ambitious prostate cancer screening trial ever and will find the best way to diagnose prostate cancer early, paving the way for a screening programme that could save thousands of lives every year.
With Paddy Power as a founding partner in TRANSFORM, The BIGGER 180 will help us move closer to a world where all men are invited for regular, accurate tests.
'The perfect checkout': darts legends join our campaign
Some of the superstars of the Paddy Power World Darts Championship are stepping up to share our lifesaving message for men at Alexandra Palace this year.
And they'll be flying the flag for our campaign throughout this year's tournament - all the way through to the final on 3 January.
