Who Will Deliver the Session?
The session will be delivered by Dr. Bunmi Olajide, who has spent the last 6 years dedicated to improving cancer services for both GPs and patients. His work spans commissioning, policy development, and education across London. As a GP representative on his hospital’s Access Policy Steering Group – Cancer Pathway, Bunmi has played a key role in shaping the Cancer Access Policy for his local NHS Trust.
In addition to his leadership roles, Bunmi serves as a GP Training Programme Director for the Barking, Dagenham & Havering VTS groups. As a PCUK Clinical Champion, he has focused on raising awareness of prostate cancer, particularly among men from black ethnic minority groups. He has collaborated with stakeholders on the PSA Consensus and works closely with religious bodies, barbershops, and charities that serve men affected by prostate cancer, with a focus on those from black African, Caribbean, and Afro-Caribbean backgrounds.
