Black men over 45 have an increased risk of prostate cancer. We want to know why.
Black men are more likely to get prostate cancer than other men. We don’t know why, but their risk might be linked to genes. Now, we’re funding research, in partnership with Movember, to find out more.
Coronavirus (COVID-19): update on the PROFILE clinical study
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, and to protect the health and well-being of their participants, the PROFILE team have postponed recruitment to their clinical study into black men's risk of prostate cancer. The team hope to resume recruitment as soon as it is safe to do so, and this page will be updated when this decision is made.
