The group provides mutual support to men and their families who are concerned about prostate cancer and its consequences; receives information about prostate cancer and its treatment; shares experience and raises awareness. The annual meeting programme includes talks from consultants, nurse specialists, and other healthcare professionals, with plenty of opportunity to comment or ask questions; also open discussions and an annual meal out. The attendance is around 20-35, including a number of partners. A bi-monthly Newsletter is widely circulated by email or post.
