Specialist Nurse Naomi

We are looking for a volunteer to help our Data Team improve the quality of our database and support the team in delivering data requests.

How you can help

We need you to:

  • Lead on data quality improvements including merging records, eliminating duplicates and maintaining a standard for import files
  • Work closely with Finance, Supporter Care, and other internal teams
  • Improve data systems efficiency - optimising usability and shortening build times
  • Support the overall data project to effectively communicate with supporters, reconcile funds raised and support the development of single customer view journeys
  • Contribute new ideas and productive ways of working
  • Provide ad-hoc data support to the team

You will be:

  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Detailed, consistent & rational
  • Have excellent data and/or analysis skills
  • A fast-learner who can work in a flexible manner
  • Respect the need to keep some information confidential
  • Team player who supports diversity & equality

You may also have:

  • Volunteered for a charity
  • Data experience, specifically data quality
  • Experience working with IT databases (Raisers Edge)
  • Bonus: the ability to engage internal clients in all things DATA through blogging!


We encourage volunteers to give 2 days per week but we can be flexible to fit with your schedule.
