Day 4: Kidderminster Harriers to Shrewsbury Town
Monday 5 June, 26.4 miles and 760m ascent
We are labelling Day 4 as the 'quirkiest' leg of Jeff’s March.
Starting at the home of the Aggborough Pie (no doubt a likely welcome source of extra energy to get everyone started), this stage features a mid-walk steam train link-up after the first five miles.
We’ll be alighting a few stops later to walk the remaining 21 miles into Shrewsbury, rounding off a walking total of 26 miles.
The route includes hills and large sections of open countryside, with some shorter off-road sections. You’ll pass by a variety of landmarks including West Midland Safari Park, Blackstone Nature Reserve and Bewdley steam railway station.
What is Jeff Stelling's March for Men?
Jeff is walking almost 400 miles from Exeter City's St James Park to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park to help stop prostate cancer being a killer. Along the way he'll visit over 40 football clubs and will be joined by some famous faces.
Sounds great - how do I get involved?
Book your place on one or more legs by paying a £25 registration fee and pledging to raise at least £300 in sponsorship per day.
