Football to Amsterdam 2021

Do you own a bike? Do you like football? Fancy a trip to Amsterdam? This is the challenge for you! Football to Amsterdam is a challenge like no other.

Cycle from either Sheffield or London to Amsterdam on your own or part of a team, and raise money to help beat prostate cancer. Represent your football club and ride alongside legends from the sport. The ride takes place from 4-6 June 2021 and you can sign up now.

The money you raise will fund life saving research to help us beat the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK. Don your footie shirts and take on Football to Amsterdam to help change the game for men everywhere.

Working with our tour operator, Sports Tours International, our brilliant team will organise everything from the moment you arrive in Sheffield or London. Not only will you take on a challenge and have a laugh with the rest of the team, but you’ll be helping to save men’s lives. So, what are you waiting for?

How do I sign up?

There is a £175 registration fee and you can choose from two options for taking part.

Option 1: Minimum sponsorship

  • Pay a £175 non-refundable registration fee
  • Pledge to raise a minimum of £1,250 in sponsorship (excluding Gift Aid)

Option 2: Self-funder

  • Pay a £175 non-refundable registration fee and then pay a further £624 to cover your full event costs.
  • We'd then ask you to raise as much as you can with a recommended minimum of £350.

Fundraising can seem quite daunting but we’ll be there to help you smash your target with tips, fundraising advice and resources. Plus the earlier you sign up the easier it is to exceed your sponsorship goal.

🍻 Day 2: 5 June - Enjoy breakfast on the ferry before disembarking to ride Holland’s famous cycle paths. Covering around 60 miles all the way to Amsterdam, there’ll be lots of well-needed feed stations! The big finish is followed by a celebration meal and night out in Amsterdam with your teammates.

🎉 Day 3: 6 June - Breakfast at your hotel, before coach transfers home. If you’ve cycled from Yorkshire, the coach will take you to the airport for a flight home. In the UK, a coach will collect you from the airport and take you back to Sheffield to collect your bike. If you’ve cycled from London, the coach will take you to Brussels to board the Eurostar back to London, where you’ll be transferred back to the Olympic Park in Stratford to collect your bike.
