Henry Obi

Henry Obi CBE is a Partner at Helios Investment Partners. He is also a member of Helios’ Private Equity and Credit Investment Committees. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Helios from the inception of the firm in 2006 to 2018.

He is a Governor at the London Business School, and was a board member of Eland Oil and Gas PLC (listed on London AIM until it was taken over in 2019). Henry is the immediate past Chairman of the Emerging Market Private Equity Association's (EMPEA) Africa Council based in Washington, DC. He was awarded a CBE in 2021 for services to public and political service.

He is keen to raise the awareness of prostate cancer, particularly among men in the high risk group for the disease.
