Heather Blake, director of support and influencing

Heather is responsible for leading the work of the charity to ensure that men have access to the best treatments, care and support.  This includes our own support services and our work to improve care for men across the UK.

Heather has held senior operational and strategic management roles in the NHS, most recently managing community health services in Lambeth and Southwark as part of Guys & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Prior to joining the NHS she worked as an economist and policy adviser in the civil service and has also run her own business.

Outside work Heather sings in a choir and enjoys many different types of music. She is a keen gardener and alternately proud of and disappointed by her attempts to grow vegetables.

She is a Trustee and Chair of the Patient Services Committee for Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham.
