He’s interviewed household names at football clubs up and down the country, and now Sky Sports reporting royalty Dickie Davis has broken new ground by launching Men United’s 2015/16 Football League activity.
At Men United, we are huge fans of Soccer Saturday and Dickie, a regular lieutenant of show presenter (and long-time friend of Prostate Cancer UK) Jeff Stelling. He helped us put together a 72 second report (plus added time!) to showcase our work as the Official Charity Partner of The Football League.
Here's Dickie reporting on Men United in a very special report...
From match day collections to epic bike rides, from golf days to star-studded celebrity matches and even a historic stadium takeover, we've worked with almost every club in The Football League over the last three years, raising money to beat prostate cancer, raising the profile of the cause to millions of fans across the land.
But there’s a long way to go...
We surveyed over 3,600 football fans* during the 2014/15 season to find out what they know about prostate cancer.
Our ever-growing army of Men United match day collectors will be armed with 'Know your prostate' pocket cards to hand out at clubs around the country, and ensure our volunteer speakers can provide talks at clubs when they are requested.
And we’re going to raise money to fund the research required to help us beat prostate cancer.
