As Football League clubs from across the country prepare to saddle up for their 150 mile ride to Amsterdam raising money to help beat prostate we take a look at the ex-pros on the trip.

Here are a few bite size chunks of our squad of ex-professionals on the London to Amsterdam Challenge showing off their football prowess (in most cases) in their pomp.

First up former AC Milan, Watford and Bournemouth legend Luther Blissett registers a hat-trick for England. Luther's London to Amsterdam experience last year he's back again to lead our Football League ride.

A youthful looking Perry 'Biker' Groves scores for Arsenal in the Littlewoods Cup semi final! The Arsenal cult hero rides out with his talkSPORT team mates for this year's London to Amsterdam Challenge.

Flying high in the London to Amsterdam fundraising league table, Vale manager Adams has already smashed his target. We struggled to find playing footage for Micky but we think he's involved with this clip. It also seems to be from a time when fans invade the pitch on a regular basis!

The first of our two ex-pros from Middlesborough, Neil Maddison pops up here with a trade mark run and finish contributing to a victory over Norwich City in the 1997-1998 season. Neil joined fellow Boro allumini Mikkel Beck and Alun Armstrong on the scoresheet for this particularly game.

Our second Boro man on the trip is Steve Vickers. We couldnt find any footage of Steve scoring but following a classic bit of Gazza magic Steve gets the hump with an opponent in this clip. So the message is - don't mess with his kit bag or else.

Bury's assistant manager Chris Brass is also on the trip. His video clip needs no explanation.

As the 2014 World Cup build up gets in to full swing this week we're glad ex-Cheltenham Town skipper Shane Duff is lining up for London to Amsterdam rather than lining up for the inevitable ill-fated penalty shoot in Brazil if this evidence is anything to go by.

Ipswich Town's Amsterdam team is full of legends as they are top of the fundraising leaderboard this year. This piece of footage of Simon Milton simply says 'Legend!' and you can see why.

Paul Warne is representing Rotherham which he did a lot of in the Ronnie Moore years - The Impossible Dream! Some tidy finishes from the ex-Millers front man.

Another legend from the #ITFC team is Alan Lee, who is still registered to play for the Portman Road outfit. He's scored some important goals for the club including this one to relegate Leeds. And who'd want that?

Bristol City's kitman and keen cyclist Scott Murray is on the trip. The ex-Robins skipper played over 350 times for the club and scored some crucial goals in City's promotion challenges in 2004 and 2007 respectively.

And we also have a couple other riders who have played pro football include Bradford City's Louis Horne and Coventry City's Tynan Scope.
