As we take another look around The Football League for clubs already going the extra mile for their London to Amsterdam Challenge we stop off Derby County. Already riding high in the Championship, their Amsterdam team are making headway with their fundraising target.

Meet Sarah Cook (pictured below), #DCFC captain. Sarah has raised £1,500 so far for the challenge including organising the 'Small but Mighty 5k' in Shipley Park, Derby. 75 runners raised £550 cheered on by Rammy, the Derby County mascot.

And it doesn't stop there for Sarah. She's busily organising a silent auction for the last game at the iPro Stadium which already includes signed Joe Hart goalkeeper gloves and a signed Luis Suarez shirt which is hoped to raise another £1,000.

Another member of the Derby team, Mekesh Aietan, has already filmed the Derby boss talking about the Dutch and the importance of the cause (which we'll be sharing in our next e-newsletter). He's the multimedia editor and will also be filming during the challenge too.

Inspired by Derby County's efforts? Let's here what the rest of The Football League are doing to smash their fundraising target!
