Some say that 5-a-side football is one of the purest expressions of the game there is. Matches can be frantic exhibitions of close control, speed of movement, fluid formations and goals aplenty. Or languid skill-fests which give players the chance to show off those tricks and flicks most of us can only dream of. Some say it's just a good way to have a kick-about with your mates as a prelude to some post-game drinks.
Whichever way you look at it, football is something millions of men understand which is why we are proud to announce that talkSPORT, the world's biggest sports radio station, is sponsoring the inaugural Men United Cup - a nationwide 5-a-side tournament in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
The tournament will be played out by 1,000 teams at 43 Goals Soccer Centres across the UK and the winners of the tournament will take on a talkSPORT Legends team including presenters such as former England players Ray Parlour and Stan Collymore.
It all kicks off from 14 September, so you've got a bit of time to dig out your shin pads and get a team together.
