Here at Men United we have a Hall of Fame. We induct supporters who have gone above and beyond in the fight against prostate cancer.

We select one Football League club employee of the month and one supporter of the month for special recognition. They receive our Men United trophy and occasionally get to meet their heroes.

Like when Burnley fan, John Heyworth, met the Burnley manager, Sean Dyche, recently to receive his award.

September's awards go to..

First up The Football League Men United Hall of Fame employee of the month is (drum roll)...

Head of Media, Paul Daws at Leeds United, who is recognised for the regional media he helped us secure with the Yorkshire Post and for facilitating a Leeds legend to back our 'Greatest captain in the history of The Football League' campaign.

Paul said "I'm speechless! Thank you so much. I feel truly honoured! As a club we are only too pleased to support such an important initiative, and if we can help increase awareness then it is more than worthwhile.

On a personal note, it was obviously nice to see Billy Bremner receive such a deserved acknowledgement with the terrific support from Leeds fans."

But wait, there's more.

Burnley fan John Heyworth is our Men United Hall of Fame supporter of the month for his work as a volunteer leader at our Men United match days.

He led the collection at Blackburn Rovers v Wolves on Saturday 19 October raising over £1000. And it doesn't end there.

John has volunteered for a number of roles for Prostate Cancer UK as well as sharing his prostate cancer story.
