Third / Fourth play off for The Mascot Race to settle the matter once and for all!

Doncaster Races played host to Prostate Cancer UK & The Football League's mascot race.

While it was a great day out for the 26 mascots turning out in support of Prostate Cancer UK, following an official steward's enquiry the race ended in controversy.

Yorkie, York City FC's mascot, stole the show with an emphatic victory finishing ahead of Billy Brewer of Burton Albion in second.

However, Chaddy the Owl of Oldham Athletic made the official podium finish in third. But a rematch has been sought by fourth placed Mr Magpie after Sky Sports News footage appeared to show a different result.

As luck would have it Chaddy will now take on Mr Magpie on Saturday 5th January 2013 at Meadow Lane to settle it once and for all!

The official Mascot Race is now in, so check it out for yourself.
