At 9am on Sunday 25 March 2012, an attempt to set the 'Most
Naked People to play a Miniature Golf Course in One Hour' World
Record will tee off at Adventure Island on Southend seafront - and
organisers are looking for intrepid men and women to take part in
the event, Balls for Balls.
Appropriately, the UK's number one free admission fun park is
already a naked World Record-breaking venue - 102 people stripped
off to set the record for 'Most Naked People on a Rollercoaster' (8
August 2010). The park also holds the record for the World's
Largest Portion of Chips (448kg, 29 June 2011). This time, the fun
park is offering those with a naked ambition to take on the
18-holes of the Adventure Golf course and raise funds and awareness
for the worthwhile Charity.
Philip Miller, the Executive Chairman and owner of Adventure
Island, says "Balls for Balls is going to bring a whole new
meaning to several golfing terms, I'm sure! But you don't need to
be a golf buff to take part - we just want people in the buff. The
naked rollercoaster record raised over £22,000 for breast cancer
research, and we'd like to raise that sum again - or even more -
for The Prostate Cancer Charity."

Charity says: ""Dare I say it we are really looking forward to
seeing the pictures from this World Record attempt. And let's hope
the weather on the day is kind to everyone who is going to be such
a great sport on behalf of the Charity. One man dies of prostate
cancer every hour and everyone who takes part in or supports this
naked golf event is playing a part in fighting this
disease."
