Prostate Cancer UK and the Royal Marsden School of Cancer
Nursing and Rehabilitation are delighted to
offer FREE study days for professionals
working with men who have prostate cancer.
This study day will explore the key elements of end of life care
and consider issues of particular relevance when caring for men
with advanced prostate cancer, including hypercalcaemia and spinal
cord compression.
Participants will have the opportunity
to:
- Discuss attitudes to death and dying
- Explore communication strategies that can be used when
answering difficult questions
- Focus on some of the common symptoms experienced by men at the
end of life, including pain and fatigue.
Spaces are limited to 20 people and offered on a first come
first served basis. Further dates will be released later in the
year.
Cost: FREE for all delegates
Please note you must be currently working with men who have
prostate cancer to apply.
