Tea needs you

In the UK, 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. It's time to fight back and help more men survive. You can help us crack prostate cancer by holding a Tea for Victory party this summer.

We have some delicious recipes provided by top class celebrity chefs to help you have a triumphant Tea for Victory party.

  • Angela Hartnett - Banana Bread
"I grew  up in awe of the home-cooking of my Italian grandmother and as a child loved  to spend time in her kitchen, soaking up the tastes and smells. So I'm delighted that my delicious Banana Bread will be part of this year's Tea For Victory, for both young and old lovers of cooking to enjoy. Why not give the recipe a whirl and share it with your loved ones at your own tea party - you'll have fun while also helping Prostate Cancer UK  support men, provide vital information and fund all-important research." Angela Hartnett MBE
  • Jo Pratt - Tarragon chicken, radish and poppy seed tea sandwiches
"It's a sad fact that today, one in eight men in the UK will get prostate cancer.  Having a Tea for Victory is a great way to help Prostate Cancer UK provide vital support to all those dads, sons, and brothers through services such as the charity's helpline, which is staffed by specialist nurses. I love the idea of "bake for victory" and of sharing your teatime favourites with family and friends on a summer day. Please join up and have a spiffing time." Jo Pratt
  • Ken Hom - Stir-fried Prawn with Green Tea (Hangzhou) Long Jing Chao Xia
"It is my privilege to support Tea For  Victory and provide a recipe. Stir-fried Prawn with Green Tea may not be your traditional tea party recipe but it really is delicious and I recommend you give it a go! I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010 and so I'm aware of the devastating impact that the disease can have on a man and his family but I believe that I am one of the lucky ones. It was very serious but now I am enjoying life more than ever before. Through Tea For Victory, it would be great if people could support Prostate Cancer UK by holding a tea party and raising funds to support more men and their families affected by the disease." Ken Hom OBE
  • Rick Stein - Majorcan Almond Cake with Almond Ice Cream
  • Thane Prince - Salmon Pasties
"Tea for Victory conjures up a lovely picture of summer tea parties in times past and I for one love some of those old-fashioned recipes. This a great opportunity to tuck into traditional treats and raise money for a great cause. Every year 40,000 men learn they have prostate cancer - the most common cancer in men. Prostate Cancer UK is striving to reach more men with essential  support and I'm backing the charity all the way." Thane Prince
  • Nigella Lawson - Strawberry Shortcakes
  • Levi Roots - Pecan Pie
"I'm thrilled that my pecan pie will be playing its part in Tea for Victory and helping people to raise lots of money for Prostate Cancer UK. I was shocked to hear just how common prostate cancer is, especially within the African-Caribbean community, so it's really important to support the charity in raising awareness of this disease."  One Love, Levi Roots
  • Mat Follas - Scotch Eggs
"At Masterchef they called me The Forager, because I could cook something out of anything and I'm humbled and proud that my dishes won such an amazing competition. So I love the spirit of Tea for Victory, creating such a unique and creative event out of the basic ingredients of tea and cake, to support the men who have to face this disease. I lost my father to Prostate Cancer so it's a cause close to my heart."
