Get together, get involved and remember the man

Sometimes, you just need an excuse to get together with friends, so why not take part in an activity he loved in his honour and share those memories?

Find an activity he loved
Take part in an activity he loved

Take part in an activity he loved

And honour his memory

Sometimes, you just need an excuse to get together with friends, so why not take part in an activity he loved in his honour and share those memories?

My husband Walter and I shared our love of golf and after seeing him succumb to the disease I wanted to raise funds in his name by holding a day at our club. It was emotional and rewarding as all my family took part and we raised over £5,000.

Whether he was a skilled golfer, an avid quizzer or a keen footballer, getting his friends together in tribute is a really special way to remember the great times you shared. You and your friends and family can organise a fitting tribute like a golf day, pub quiz, fête or even something completely different like jumping out of a plane together!

Whatever you do, by rallying together you’ll be keeping families and friendships together and honouring the man who meant so much to so many.
