Join our team - raise money and get a free ticket to a Football League game

As The Football League's Official Charity Partner, we're working together with all 72 clubs to help raise awareness of prostate cancer in their community and raise money to support men with the disease.

We couldn't do this without you so please join our fight and join our team of volunteers at Prostate Cancer UK matchdays this season.

It isn't just your team that needs support.

What can I do?

We'd love for you to help us raise money at games across the season by bucket shaking, handing out our football fanzines and representing Prostate Cancer UK.

We need you to join us and show all the fans there how important prostate cancer is and how we all need to do everything we can to stop 10,000 men dying from the disease every year in the UK.

What will happen on the day?

You will be collecting from fans as they arrive at the ground for around 90 minutes before kick off.  We will provide you with a bucket, a branded item of clothing to identify yourself as  Prostate Cancer UK volunteer, as well as information leaflets on prostate cancer to hand out to fans.

Volunteers will be able to promote the charity using our football fanzine which carries a suggested donation of £1.

You will be provided specific information (start time, meeting point etc) for your game closer to the date of the game. There will be a volunteer leader on the day who will meet and brief you, and give you everything you need including the bucket and branded clothing

Can I be team leader?

Absolutely. If you're confident, enthusiastic and up for the challenge we'd love to have you as a team leader.

Your role will be to liaise with the club contact on the day to identify the best spots for people to fundraise.  You will ensure that the volunteers are visibly wearing the charity t-shirts and that they all have their sealed buckets and know where they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to be doing.

You will also be responsible for collecting the money after the collection and paying it into the bank.

Can I bring my friends and family?

Of course you can! The more people you can bring, the more volunteers we have and the more money we can make on the day.

Where and when can I do it?

Please see below for the list of games that we will be collecting at.

Well where do I sign up?
