Founded in 1929 by a group of keen golfers, Finchley Golf Club's course was designed by one of the greatest architects available at the time, the five times Open Champion James Braid. Braid laid out a very challenging, 6.300-yard course which has continued to thrive behind developing green woodlands. With its imposing hill top clubhouse overlooking the 18th green, Finchley Golf Club now offers a superb test of golf in open countryside barely 30 minutes travel from central London. This par 72 picturesque parkland course is regarded as the finest challenge in North London.

Finchley Golf Day 2013

This year's event raised a fantastic £12,000 for Prostate Cancer UK. The setting couldn't have been more idyllic as 17 teams of teed off under the North London sunshine  and eagerly fought the rights to take home the highly sought after "Sir Clive Bourne Trophy".  The winning team which consisted of Terry Cohen, Martin Bronkhurst, Paul Reik and Tony Hyams graciously accepted the Trophy and vowed to defend the title next year.

Robert Feld of Bright Graham Murray, who have generously sponsored the event over the last three years said

"It has been so wonderful to be involved in such a great occasion over the last few years and to have raised over £40,000 in that time has been an achievement I will never forget. Especially as prostate cancer now affects one in eight men"
