"Having completed the Thames Path Challenge last year I was looking for another challenge in 2013... in January I received the Prostate Cancer UK Events Diary and low and behold there on page 5 was my challenge, the Ben Nevis Trek!! In my slightly younger days I completed the London Marathon eight times, so I do like a challenge, and on each occasion I raised money for one charity or another. I chose to get involved with Prostate Cancer UK following a number of "high" PSA readings which resulted in two biopsies and an MRI scan, thankfully none of which detected cancer...but one day they might, hopefully not."
