Value Based Pricing, March 2011

Cancer Drugs Fund, January 2011
We responded to the Department of Health's consultation on proposals to establish a Cancer Drugs Fund from April 2011. The Fund is intended to improve access to cancer drugs prior to the anticipated reform of the current arrangements for branded drug pricing, which expire in 2013.

Review of the Cancer Reform Strategy, September 2010
We responded to the Government's consultation on the review of the 2007 Cancer Reform Strategy. This review was designed to update the Government's cancer strategy and ensure it is in line with the "Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS" White Paper.

We also fed into the Prostate Cancer Advisory Group's response to the review of the Cancer Reform Strategy. The Prostate Cancer Advisory Group includes representatives from the Department of Health, health professionals and researchers and advises the Government on prostate cancer issues.
