This week is quite simply Magic. And it's not just because it's only a four day working week. We're at Magic Weekend in Newcastle (12 teams from the creme de la creme of Rugby League do battle on one pitch over two days) with Rugby League Cares to celebrate.

Friday 29 May: Tap n' Tackle quiz with Sky Sports Rugby League team

Meet the Sky Sports Rugby League team (Eddie Hemmings, Bill Arthur, Phil Clarke, Rod Studd, Brian McDermott and Brian Carney) and play our Rugby League quiz before Newcastle Thunder take on York City Knights.

Saturday 30 May at The Men United Arms

At The Men United Arms (usually known as The Junction, Haymarket) 10p from each pint of Men United Ale sold will be donated to the charity, and 50p from every Magic Weekend breakfast.

On Saturday there will be live sport all day including The FA Cup final and three Super League games, prize draws, sweepstakes and a DJ set from Frankie and the Heartstrings (9pm).

Sunday 31 May at The Men United Arms

On Sunday we'll do it all over again but this time with an extra special Magic Weekend Q&A hosted by BBC Sport's Dave Woods with special guests from the world of Rugby League from 10am.

Breakfast is £4.99 (with 50p donated to the charity).

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May: Join us in the Magic Weekend fanzone

Dare you ride our Rugby Rodeo ball challenge in the Magic Weekend fanzone? We'll have a presence in the fanzone just next to St James' Park metro station all weekend. Come and say hello, take the Rugby Rodeo challenge and ask our Men United band to entertain you.

The fanzone is free and open from 12-7pm on Saturday / 12-5pm on Sunday.
