Recognised with a win at last week's prestigious Charity Times Awards, Keyline's corporate partnership with Prostate Cancer UK has raised awareness as well as astonishing sums of money since it began in 2010.
One of our key partners was the deserved winner of best Corporate National Partnership Champion at last week's prestigious Charity Times Awards, recognising the huge impact Keyline have had both on our fundraising targets and in helping promote awareness of prostate cancer among its customers, clients and workforce.
The leading distributor of construction materials started a five-year partnership with Prostate Cancer UK in 2010 and has so far donated more than £1m through employee fundraising – including the annual Keyline Rally (pictured above), which raises £100k. The company also estimates it has reached more than 30,000 customers and suppliers with our charitable messages through its direct marketing.
Stephen Riggens, Marketing Manager at Keyline, says: "This was the first five-year charity partnership Keyline has embarked on and it’s exceeded all of our expectations. Our staff survey found that staff felt a sense of pride in the partnership; it boosted morale and had a positive impact on business relationships.
"We’ve also strengthened relationships with customers and suppliers, helping raise the company’s and charity’s profile in the construction industry. It really has been a strategic collaboration and it’s fantastic that we’ve received this prestigious accolade."
James Beeby, Director of Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, adds: "Our partnership with Keyline is Men United in action. It’s developed into a genuine friendship as the two organisations have got together to do something great to beat prostate cancer. It has all made a terrific difference to our work for men across the UK and this award is brilliant recognition of an absolutely brilliant partnership."
