Prostate Cancer UK yesterday held an urgent summit at the Oval Cricket Ground in London to tackle life-and-death questions about why African and African Caribbean men in the UK are a shocking three times more likely to develop prostate cancer than white men of the same age.

With the support of the charity's ambassadors, former footballer-turned broadcaster, Mark Bright, and actor, Rudolph Walker, the meeting, coined 'Partnering in Progress', brought together experts and leaders from the UK's African and African Caribbean communities to create an influential task force to lift the issue of prostate cancer in black men higher up the nation's agenda.
